Niki Scevak - Chief Executive Officer
Prior to founding Homethinking LLC, Niki Scevak was an Analyst with JupiterResearch advising some of the world's largest media firms on strategy and planning issues related to online advertising and media. He was a frequent commentator in major publications such as The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Forbes Magazine and other trade media. His published work is used as coursework material for the Institute of Charted Accountants and he has lectured on post-graduate marketing at the University of Technology Sydney.
Before 2003, Scevak was based in Sydney, Australia, where he led JupiterResearch's coverage of emerging media and telecommunications, and managing INT Media Group's stable of technology newsletters and events.
Prior to joining JupiterResearch, Scevak co-founded The BookmarkBox - a web based bookmark manager and community search provider - that was acquired in January of 2000 by New York-based Blink.com. Scevak has also worked in the investment banking and management consulting industries at Macquarie Bank and PricewaterhouseCoopers. He was awarded a co-operative scholarship to study Business Information Technology at the University of New South Wales, graduating with distinction. He currently lives in New York City.

Kelvin Tan - Development Lead
Kelvin is the lead software developer and chief architect of Homethinking, responsible for the full life cycle of searching and crawling.
Prior to Homethinking, Kelvin worked with a number of vertical search startups, such as Properazzi and Indeed, advising on crawling architecture and information retrieval. He is an active contributor to both Lucene and Nutch, two open source projects part of the Jakarta Apache project.
Kelvin keeps a blog focused on Nutch and Lucene at supermind.org, and enjoys Ultimate Frisbee and learning to play his new Yamaha S08 keyboard.
