Chapter Endings

by nikiscevak on February 12, 2007

I enjoyed listening to Aaron Cohen, founder of Bolt.com, at the New York Video meetup a few weeks ago. Cohen was hesitant when speaking about Bolt’s future and seemed passionate, if a little constrained (given they haven’t launched), about a new project.

One part of that equation – Bolt’s future – was answered today with GoFish, an online video cashbox fund, announcing they had acquired the company for up to $30m in stock and simultaneously announcing a resolution to the legal action against Bolt.com from Universal Music.

GigaOm has the best depth on the story, including that Cohen’s new venture will be called WikiYou and that as well as first round capital, Mayfield had also agreed to invest.
