If a home seller isn't using an agent (i.e. FSBO), should I?
What are the pros and cons? Will an agent even work with me if I am considering buying a FSBO listing?

I have experienced that most real estate agents will work with you when you are considering buying a FSBO listing. Any compensation to the real estate agent can usually be worked out with the seller.

Yes you should use an agent to purchase. The law allows that yu can have a buyer's agent for free of change to help you diring the hunt, inspection and legal aspects you will run intothey can ve very valuable in negotiating the fair price foporperty for the client
FSBO sellers are unknowingly placing themselves at great legal and financial risk when they sell their homes because they are usually not familiar with the current real estate laws regarding the sale and transfer of real estate. Because real estate transactions require legally binding contracts, I a seller forgets to disclose a property defect, remedy or fix an apparent defect, fulfill the contract, etc. they could be at risk for being sued. If you are buying a home or considering buying a home from a FSBO or any other home for that matter, you want and need your own representation (a Realtor) to complete this process to protect your interest. Most FSBO sellers will usually negotiate a fee or percentage to pay your Realtor because in the end, they just want to sell their house to you. Hope that helps.
