Paul and Lois are the best real estate agents I've ever had the pleasure of working with. I have bought and sold several properties before I worked with Paul and Lois, and none of the previous realtors came even close to matching their professionalism, dedication, and overall kindness. Paul and Lois will bend over backwards for you and will spend as much time as you need to find you the perfect home. Paul and Lois spent countless hours over a two year span, patiently helping us find a home. They never put pressure on us, and they had a vested interest in trying to find a place that would make us happy. I always felt like they had our best interests at heart during every step of e process. They truly care about their clients and are a pleasure to be around. I would highly recommend the Westels. Not only are they wonderful realtors, but they are two of the nicest and genuine people I have ever met.

I only give 1 star cause I can't give 0. This man DESTROYED my financial life forever. I was a young 22 year old female and he lied to me and misled me throughout the entire transaction. He told me to NOT counter offer what the seller was asking. He was also the sellers agent! He told me that I could turn it into a 2 flat and it would be worth 20k more than when i bought it. That was also a HUGE lie! I didn't even want to buy this property. I was looking at a condo in Evanston that would have been a HUGE return on my invesetment. Instead when I mentioned that he came rushing at me strong arming me into the garbage I bought. He even laughed at me when I was talking about fixing it up. I was so naive! I trusted him cause he claimed to be a Christian and I had just become a Christian myself so I thought he had my best interest at heart. I lost so much money. I should've backed out of the deal cause all I could get was a negatively amortized mortgage (I owed 10k more on the house when I sold it than when I bought it...thanks Paul) but he said it was a great deal anyway. He was such a liar!!! He even had me pose as a customer to go look at a house of one of his listings that was going to list with someone else. When I finally sold the house he did NOTHING to help me. I hired him again..and he introduced me to a guy who bought the house. He did absolutely 0 negotiating for me for the best price. He didn't even show up to the closing and I had to pick up my own doc stamps. He and his wife Lois made fun of me and when I tried to confront them years later about the financial ruin he caused in my life he told me how much integrity he had at his church...and how highly he was thought of by them. I know what this man did to me. I am a poor single mom on food stamps as a direct result of the greed and selfishness of Paul Westel!!! Today I looked for a used RV to live in with my daughter. I could have been set for life. I came into Paul's office with close to 100,000.00. I left with just over 7 thousand. I lost EVERYTHING from this man's lies and misleading me and I have NEVER recovered!!! He's a slick willie on the outside. smooth talking...fast talking...but he's a selfish, evil man who has no conscience for how he destroyed a young woman's life FOREVER!!! I grew up in foster homes so I had no parental guidance when I came to see him I didn't know what I was doing. I was a student at a Bible College and I wanted to be a missionarmey!!! I had broken my back and lost a baby in the car accident that gave me the money to buy the real estate. And Paul Westel saw this naive young woman come through his door and instead of trying to help me make good decisions that would set me for life...he pounced on me like a cat on a mouse and took from me everything I had. Why??? So he could make probably a total of 8 thousand dollars of commission from me. So for 8 grand...my life has been entirely ruined by this one man. Wow Paul...that's quite an accomplishment. Congradulations. Hope you don't feel too sorry for me and my daughter living in a used rv in 160 sf while you enjoy your 4000 sf home. Hope your sons are living the good life like my daughter is...she can't afford dance lessons, art lessons, new clothes, etc...but hey Paul...we get $275 a month in food stamps!! Yea we're living large!!!! Need I say more? But believe me. Truth is stranger than fiction...and what I am saying on here is 100% God's honest truth.
