The realtor called me once and left a message but he never got back to me.

Dear Tony: We would like to thank you for the excellent marketing that you did to sell our home. We chose you and your company to list our home for several reasons. When we decided to list our home, we invited four of the more prominent realtors to present a plan to sell it The first company did not return our call; the remaining three, including you, came out to look at our property. We then asked that you return in four days to present a marketing plan. One day before the fourth day, one realtor excused himself "because he hadn't done a marketing plan in ten years". That demonstrated to us that he only intended to plant a sign on our lawn, and to wait for the house to sell on its own. There were then only two realtors left. The other realtor came to us with a marketing plan that consisted of a list of five comparable homes, and wanted to have several open houses, take photos and post them on various web sites. You came out with a true marketing plan. You and your finance specialist presented statistics, strategies using financing for prospective buyers, a critical evaluation of how to present the property, and ideas on how to stage the home. In short, it was a very detailed and workable plan. We had reviewed houses that you had listed: the quality of the photos, and the copy that accompanied them. That is why we chose you and your team to list our home. We were fully prepared to follow your advice in preparing the house for sale. We expected to sell our home within several months. Little did we know that you would be able to sell our home in just one day. We were truly amazed. Your agent was showing another home on our street, and mentioned to the prospective buyers that another home was newly listed, but not yet on the multiple listings. We listed our home on Monday, your agent showed it on Tuesday, and we received the offer that we requested on Tuesday evening. Often closing an a home is difficult to schedule. Your follow up with the buyers, lawyers, and banks allowed us to close on our home in only 30 days. Some people may say that selling a home in one day is a fluke, or just luck_ However, in today's difficult market, it was not luck that sold this home so quickly. It was skill and hard work. Your associates work as a very effective marketing team. They are experts in market conditions, financing, and sales techniques.
