Akim Smyer is a licensed, Associate Broker with more than 20 years in the Real Estate profession, Akim's tenure with a leading developer of Condo and Co-op communities affords her a unique & invaluable understanding of these sometimes complex markets.

At the invitation of former co-worker and Real Estate Broker Patricia Cunningham, Akim joined the firm of Cunningham & Schneider Realty in 1998 where she became an award winning Sales Associate.  In 2005 she left Cunningham & Schneider to rejoin Patricia Cunningham at her newly formed company Cunningham Realty Ltd.  where she worked before joining Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage in March 2008.

Akim is one of few Realtors to hold the SRES designation (Senior Real Estate Specialist).

As a co-op owner/investor and former board member herself, Akim has an intimate knowledge of Co-operative and Condominium living.  Successfully closing hundreds of contracts throughout Westchester County, the Bronx and upper Manhattan, her warm and personable manner coupled with her inside knowledge bring her many referrals and repeat clients.
